//ABOUT BREATH OF LIFE FELLOWSHIP

Bishop J. C. Williams

Bishop J. C. Williams

Presiding Bishop

Bishop Williams was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, to the late James and Donna Williams. He accepted his call into ministry at the age of 12 and preached his first sermon at the age of 15. Bishop Williams later launched his collegiate career at the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. As a Political Science major, his intent was to matriculate to law school and eventually become a judge. However, the call of God upon his life to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ was so audible and evident that he began following the path of ministry. After journeying on the path of ministry, on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1999, Bishop Williams birthed New Life International Family Church. In addition to the pastorate, Bishop Williams holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, Florida and an earned Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Religion from Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary located in Tampa, Florida. On March 31, 2007 Bishop Williams was consecrated Bishop by Archbishop Lawrence Langston. On August 1, 2008, Bishop Williams birthed the Breath of Life Fellowship: a multi-faceted gathering of leaders seeking to make a relevant contribution to the growth of the Kingdom for God’s glory.

Who We Are

Breath of Life Fellowship was birth shortly after the consecration of Dr. Jeronn C. Williams to the office of Bishop on March 31, 2007. With a sincere desire to fulfill the Presiding Prelate status, Bishop Williams began to organize and establish the vision of an entity relevant to the 21st-century providing covering, direction, fellowship, instruction and networking to those who embrace the leadership call on his life. The first Breath of Life Fellowship Convention establish the advisory council of three (3) individuals called the Holy Synod, as well as two (2) general board members. At the conclusion of the first convention, six (6) churches prayerfully consented to joining forces with Bishop Williams. With the Holy Spirit as his guide, Bishop Williams seeks not to take from nor compete with anything or anyone, but solely to fulfill the mandate placed upon his life by God.

What We Do

To equip, impact, and empower the church of Jesus Christ and the body of Christ at-large to be bible based, community involved, family oriented, and well balanced and the fulfillment of purpose and destiny. The goal of our Fellowship is to provide an atmosphere where in believers can experience and encounter God, pastors and leaders can be renewed and restored to serve, and division in the body of Christ can be healed. We seek to contribute to the equipping of the saints by providing spiritual oversight, encouraging quality relationships between leaders, and mobilizing the church to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission and purpose of BOLF will manifest as we continue in the faith (FIDES), support and strengthen family (PROSAPIAS) as the foundation of society, and break down the walls of prejudice and division through fellowship (SODALITAS).

//WHO WE BUILD

//WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible, both old and new testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God is able to heal all diseases and divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ, convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

There is one God, creator of all things infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three (3) manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and by the Holy Spirit.

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart and speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

In the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent Return of our Lord Jesus Christ; the blessed hope.

Holiness is God’s standard of living for His people.

Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified on a cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins, buried in a tomb, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Father, He is our High Priest and Advocate.

In water baptism by immersion subsequent to the new birth as a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life, and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial service symbolizing the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

In the Bodily Resurrection of all the dead: the righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal punishment.

We Are Committed to Equip, Impact, & Empower Leaders

Did you know that ministry is one of the most challenging callings in life? As the world gets more complex, interrelated, and interdependent than past times, the challenges faced by those answering the call to ministry today can be daunting and isolating.  Perilous times cannot be mastered with ill-equipped, uncovered, unprepared, and unanointed leaders. To address challenges in a meaningful, impactful, and sustainable way, it requires fresh anointing, strategic thinking, innovative ministry, and community engagement. Breath of Life Fellowship has recognized this need and has created a fellowship whereby Christian leaders can be covered and equipped to reconcile those who are spiritually lost, back to Christ.
